Christian Eriksen's full name, Christian Dannemann Eriksen is a Danish professional and talented footballer who played as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Brentford and the Denmark national team. He has been honored on occasions as his nation's Talent of the Year. He is the first footballer to have won the Danish Football Player of the Year Award thrice consecutively. Christian was born in Middelfart, Denmark, and followed in the footsteps of his father Thomas when he started playing football in the academy of the local side, Middelfart G&BK. After that began his senior club career in 2010, playing for Ajax, where he won three Eredivisie titles and the KNVB Cup.
