Desmond Tutu, known for his fight against apartheid and LGBT rights, died in the last month of 2020. He has consistently raised his voice on issues like HIV/AIDS, poverty, racism, homophobia and transphobia. From South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to former US President Barack Obama and Tibetan religious leader the Dalai Lama condoled the death of Tutu.
