Metals are elements that are hard, a good conductor of heat and electricity, malleable, sonorous, lustrous and they have high melting and boiling point except for cesium and gallium. Whereas non-metal don’t show such properties they are brittle, non-malleable, non-ductile, non-sonorous, a bad conductor of heat and electricity and they found in solids, liquids, and in gaseous form at room temperature. There are exceptions in both cases metals and non-metal.
