Times Higher Education–QS World University Rankings which is now known as QS World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). It had collaborated earlier with Times Higher Education (THE) magazine to publish its international league tables from 2004 to 2009 but later, QS then chose to have the pre-existing methodology while Times Higher Education adopted a new methodology to create their own rankings. The QS World University Ranking received International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) approval therefore is the most widely read university ranking along with the Academic Ranking of World Universities and Times Higher Education World University Rankings. It was first highlighted in December 2003 in Richard Lambert's review of university-industry collaboration in Britain, United Kingdom.
