The Global Investment Trend Monitor Report 2019 was released by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. According to the report, the global direct foreign investment in the year 2019 stood at $1.39 trillion. FDI inflows to developed countries have historically been at a low level, reaching the US $643 billion.
